Tony Bagga holds the role of President and Director of Northern Lakeland Indigenous Alliance (NLIA), as well holds the title of Director of Government/Industry Relations and Business Development on behalf of Heart Lake First Nation #469 based out of Edmonton, AB. Expanding his role, Tony Bagga also is CEO for Blackwolf Molecular Solutions and Blackwolf PPE, both companies proudly being 100% band owned. With 30 years of experience in management and executive leadership coupled with 11 years in First Nation engagement with Heart Lake First Nation, he has developed a strong expertise in consultation, economic development, investment strategy and the art of negotiation. Tony is known for his unique style to business engagement and the development of creative approaches to successful mitigation strategies.

Born and raised in Edmonton, AB, in addition to residing in Montreal, Tony Bagga has notable completion of the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme from the University of Oxford, Said Business School; Queens’s Negotiating and Consensus Building Program from Queen’s University, Smith School of Business; Indigenous Organizational Leadership/Governance and Management of Excellence from the Banff Centre; 20/20 Catalyst Program from Indigenous Clean Energy (ICE); Architectural CAD Technician & Mechanical Engineering Design from Digital School Technical Design College and currently balancing to complete his Economic Development Designation from University of Waterloo; Project Management Profession at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology & MBA from Australian Institute of Business. His passion for advancing Indigenous Communities is continually adapting and ever evolving to hit new heights.

In addition to President and Director’s role, Tony Bagga is actively involved with Heart Lake First Nation’s Elders and Youth to build capacity and knowledge of his office.

Outside of work, Tony is an enthusiast of travel with his family appreciating and experiencing new places and cultures.

Tony bagga is dedicated to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends in business and bridging in the dominant force era of, Indigenous engagement and involvement. Tony Bagga is always open to new opportunities and collaborations.
