I was born, raised, employed and retired in Melfort, Saskatchewan. I am the middle of three sons born to Mike and Evelyn and have two married daughters and one grandson as well as three grown stepchildren and one granddaughter.

After two years attending the U of S, our family dealership burnt to the ground, so I began working full time at Melody Motors, first in accounting, then in sales and finance, eventually becoming General Manager at our new location on Saskatchewan Drive.

I believe in giving back and serving the community and was a founding member of the Melfort Mustang's Board of directors, as well as founding member of the Optimist Club of Melfort, National Roundtable Member for Ford Canada and Ford Dealer Advertising Association member. I was also the Saskatchewan Board Member of the WDCOAUTO from Edmonton. I was very honored to have won 2 Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medallions in 2022, one from our community and one from the Prince Albert Constituency.

I have been very fortunate to meet and work with many like-minded people from many walks of life that believe it is up to each of us to make a difference every day. When we all pull together, we can accomplish miracles!!

Rod Gantefoer, a local ambassador, introduced me to STARS many years ago and since then I have enjoyed answering phones for their annual radiothon, ensuring Melfort had proper funding for their Heliport, and joining all Saskatchewan Ford Dealers to raise money for STARS through the PEGASUS Project.

Now with this new opportunity, I look forward to raising money for STARS through Rescue on the Prairie!
